(11 – 18 years old or teacher referral)

During this 4 hours/week class students will work with a professional creative team, focusing on the rehearsal and performance of a major musical theatre production with full design and technical support. Students will have the opportunity to use the tools they have learned in their classes and bring them to the stage. Recent productions include; Annie, Oklahoma, Into the Woods, Hairspray, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Once On This Island, The Addams Family, The Drowsy Chaperone, Curtains,  Spamalot, Legally Blonde, Guys and Dolls, Damn Yankees, Urinetown, and Bright Star! Join our award winning production class with recent awards in Outstanding Production of the year and Outstanding Ensemble for 3 consecutive years! Our next production, Rock of Ages High School Edition, begins auditioning on Tuesday February 18, 2020! *Students are required to have black jazz shoes.

Class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8pm. Performances are at El Camino College Campus Theatre. 
Spring show is Rock of Ages High School Edition and performance dates are June 27 and June 28, 2020.

I hereby agree that I, for myself, my child(ren), adopted or otherwise, my heirs and executors, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damage that I may have at any time against Sunset Theatre Company, LLC and/or the schools in which Sunset Theatre Company, LLC classes take place and any of their affiliated entities, their owners, shareholders, members, managers, directors, officers, employess or agents, including and instructors, or representatives for any injury or damages incurred in connection with my child’s entry and participation in activities related to this theater program. There will be no make-up, rescheduling of lessons or prorating due to vacation, illness or quarantine. Sunset Theatre Company, LLC reserves the right adjust schedule as needed due to weather, instructor availability, or other emergencies.
