Saturdays: October 2 – December 11 (No class November 27)
11:05am – 12:05pm PST

Voice 2 is all about taking what was learned in Voice 1 and being able to identify those techniques independently. Students will be taught to identify higher level harmony and be introduced to solo performance and how it contrasts and compares to ensemble performance. Voice 2 will have an enhanced version of Virtual Story Songs. This is similar to Voice 1 with the difference being it isn’t guided and students are allowed more creative freedom! Like Voice 1, students will continue to learn techniques of breathing, vocal projection and ear training and the use of those skills in Musical Theatre repertoire. Students will also complete song analysis to incorporate acting and music skills in solo and ensemble presentations. Vocal classes transcend to online very easily. Various games and tools are added to ensure learning, fun and engagement in the virtual setting.
