Shawn Wilson

Comprehensive Performance Company Music Director, Voice for Musical Theatre Instructor

Shawn Wilson joined Sunset Theatre Company Fall 2017 serving as Music Director for Legally Blonde. He comes by way of San Antonio, Texas after graduating from Texas State University with his music degree where he studied music education and opera. His performance credits recently include premiering Comic-Con The Musical at Hollywood Fringe Festival, as well as performances in HMS Pinafore, Buoso’s Ghost, Gianni Schicchi, and Speed Dating Tonight. Outside of Sunset, Shawn has a private voice studio in Sherman Oaks and is a singer-songwriter performing in the LA area. Some of his favorites range from Mozart to Alicia Keys, and has an appreciation for all forms of art. An appreciation he hopes to pass on to his students. Shawn is excited to be a part of Sunset Theatre Company and would like to thank everyone for embracing him and looks forward to working with everyone!
