Imagination Theatre, Storybook Theatre, Beg Musical Theatre, Broadway Bound, Camps
Kristin is a nearly life-long resident of Manhattan Beach, Ca. She found a passion for story-telling early in life and has fully immersed herself in the world of performance and theatre education. With two film-maker brothers, she is no stranger to the independent film set. She co-produced and starred in two web series, worked as a background actor, and in 2018, Kristin co-starred in her first feature film, “Sad Boy”, currently on the festival scene.
Kristin has played active leadership roles in her theatre world as President of Mira Costa High School’s Drama Department (2010-11) and an Executive Board Member of Alpha Psi Omega Theatre Honor Society (2014-15). She received a BA in Theatre Arts from Loyola Marymount University, where she won the Virginia Barnelle Award for Excellence in Acting. She studied Irish Drama & Literature at Trinity College, Dublin and acting at The Beverley Hills Playhouse. Some on stage performance highlights include Eileen in “The Cripple of Inishmaan”, Solange in “The Maids” and working alongside Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Beth Henley as Lenny in “Crimes of the Heart”. While her heart lies with acting, Kristin is well-versed in the technical and directorial sides of the theatre world. Throughout and since her time at LMU, Kristin has played the role of stage manager, set designer, assistant director, children’s choreographer and costume quick-change extraordinaire.
Sunset has been home for Kristin since its opening in 2007. She performed in the company’s inaugural play “Trixie the Teen Detective” as a high school freshman, and their first musical production of “Legally Blonde” the following year. After graduating from LMU in 2015, Kristin returned to Sunset as an enrichment teacher. After-school and summer theatre programs gave Kristin her love for the stage, and she is hopes to instill that same passion and excitement in her Sunset students!
